The closest commercial airport to the resort is resort is Nashville International Airport (BNA), approximately 9 miles (14 kilometers) away.
Airfare is not included in the trip price.
Airport transfers are not included in this trip. Make sure to arrange your own transfers between the airport and your resort.
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is set in the cultural heart of Nashville, putting you within earshot of the city’s legendary music stages and other heritage sites. On-site, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for family adventure, relaxation and fun — from exciting water attractions in the upscale water park to the practice golf range to the full-service spa. The resort also boasts 9 acres (3.6 hectares) of indoor gardens and waterfalls within a massive atrium space. In addition to the many available amenities and activities, guests love the well-appointed rooms, attentive service and easy access to an amazing range of cuisine at the resort’s many eateries and bars.

General Jackson Showboat dinner cruise:
Still photography is permitted during the show for guests using non-professional cameras. Professional cameras must be pre-approved as media cameras.
Video recording is not permitted during the show.
Outside food and drink are not permitted onboard.
Firearms and weapons are not permitted onboard.
Onboard dress code is casual; however, guests must wear shirts and shoes at all times, and bathing suits and halter tops are not permitted.
Please note: The General Jackson provides accessibility for guests with disabilities as detailed below:
Boarding Ramp – The ramp that leads to the General Jackson has an incline from the dock onto the Texas Deck of the General Jackson. There is also an inclined ramp on the dock that leads to the Main Deck of the boat.
Texas Deck / Clerestory Deck – There are 2 inclined ramps (Port and Starboard) leading from the Texas Deck to the Clerestory Deck for guests to access the retail shop and the Heritage Hall lounge. Doors to both areas are a minimum of 36 inches (1 meter) in width. This deck is also the uppermost deck with access for the onboard elevator. Guests wishing to utilize the elevator can do so with the assistance of a General Jackson crew member. The restrooms located on this deck are not wheelchair accessible.
Upper Deck – The balcony level of the Victorian Theater is located on this deck. The deck from the elevator to the balcony is flat for Tables 51-75. There is a step up to the second tier of the balcony where Tables 76-80 are located, however an aluminum ramp is available to over this step for guests sitting in this area. The next tier in this area is one step up and provides access to the covered Upper Deck Bow. The aluminum ramp would be required for this step also. A General Jackson crew member will assist with the ramp upon request. The paddlewheel observation deck is also located on this deck. The deck from the elevator to the back of the boat to view the paddlewheel is flat with an incline provided from the doorway onto the deck area. Windows have also been provided in the bulkhead for viewing of the paddlewheel. The restrooms on this deck are not wheelchair accessible.
Main Deck – The main floor of the Victorian Theater is located on this deck. The deck from the elevator to the main floor is flat for all tables. Crew members will assist in clearing a path upon request for those in wheelchairs who need assistance. The only accessible restrooms on the General Jackson are located on this deck (the ladies’ room is on the Port Side of the Main Deck Bow and the men’s room is on the Starboard Side). The deck is inclined that leads from the door to the deck on the bow of the boat.
Hurricane Deck – This top deck of the General Jackson is not accessible by elevator, but only by two staircases. There are no restrooms located on this deck. Those guests who have purchased the Captain’s Table will be on this deck for the tour of the Pilot House.
Please note: Not all buses used for transfer between your hotel and the boat are wheelchair accessible. If you require assistance, please notify Travel Support to make arrangements.

You understand and acknowledge that participating in DreamTrips is a benefit of DreamTrips Membership; therefore, your monthly membership fees must be current and paid in full at the time of travel. If you book a DreamTrips package and cancel your membership, or your membership is in inactive status at the time of travel, you understand and acknowledge that your trip will be cancelled and subject to refund as outlined in the cancellation policy for your particular trip.
Travel is unpredictable and country restrictions due to COVID-19 change regularly; please understand that the policies below apply and you are encouraged to purchase travel protection.
Cancellation Policy*: If you cancel 46 days or more before the start date of your trip, you will get a refund less a fee of US$100. If you cancel within 45 days of the start date of your trip, your trip will not be refunded. All fees are applicable on a per-person basis.
*This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations in applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier is based. In the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in supplier booking terms, the more restrictive of the two terms will prevail.
Name Change Policies: Name changes are not permitted for the DreamTrips Member(s) who booked this trip and are only allowed for people who are traveling with said booking member. Name changes must be done no later than April 5 and are subject to a fee of up to US$100. Name changes after this date are not allowed.
Transfer Policies: Booking transfers from one member to another member are not allowed on this trip.

Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.
Make sure that your passport and visa, if applicable, are up to date before you leave! It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date. If you are unable to obtain the required identification and other documentation, the Cancellation Policy for this DreamTrip will apply.
Each individual, including each child, who is coming along with you on your DreamTrip is required to have a booking prior to the commencement of the trip. If you do not book and pay for each such person in advance of the trip, you will be charged the hotel’s then-current rate, not the trip price, for each such person at the time of your check-in.
Pricing for children is based on their age at the time of travel and may be subject to additional terms and conditions of individual hotels and all-inclusive resorts. Also, pricing for children can vary, and may be higher than pricing for adults. Therefore, before you book any travel, please check the relevant hotel or resort website for applicable terms and conditions as well as details regarding their pricing structure.
